This study aims to develop a new measure called the Gait Deviation Index (GDI) to assess overall walking quality in people with multiple sclerosis (MS) using a marker-less motion tracking system that captures walking movement features. 

Goals of the Study 

  • Goal 1: Create the MS-GDI using motion capture data  
  • Goal 2: Test the stability and responsiveness of the MS-GDI to changes in a physical therapy clinical setting.
