About Me
Jessica Curran is the Clinical Manager of Shirley Ryan 外网天堂's Northbrook Outpatient Center, dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient rehabilitation to Chicago's North Shore. Jessica has a strong passion for orthopedic and sports-related therapy. She leads the Golf Performance and Running Performance Programs. Jessica also enjoys treating patients. As a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Jessica leverages her expertise to help rehabilitate patients, enabling them to re-engage in the activities they love. She firmly believes in the importance of fitness, wellness and community engagement to promote longevity, regardless of one's abilities.
Jessica's responsibilities extend beyond the clinic. She instructs in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Northwestern University and serves as a board member for the Shirley Ryan 外网天堂 & Northwestern University Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program. Additionally, Jessica actively contributes to research and the SRAlab Artificial Intelligence Committee.
Jessica draws from extensive experience working with elite athletes, including Major League Baseball players, the U.S. Women's National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team and competitors in the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials and U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. Additionally, Jessica has significant experience aiding cancer survivors in maintaining or regaining function during and after cancer-related treatment. Jessica previously served as Clinical Faculty in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California, where she was involved in patient care, teaching, research and clinical education.
